New in the Shop: Katin, Relwen & Filson

We're always on the hunt for the next brand worth adding to the mix — something with real quality behind it, not just a logo. Here's what's new (and what's coming soon) at Out There Outfitters.

Katin

Katin has been making California surf-heritage apparel since the 1950s, and it shows in every piece — boardshorts, tees, and flannels built with the kind of easy, worn-in character that takes other brands years to fake. It's become one of our go-to picks for laid-back, everyday wear.

Try the Men's Derek Flannel, a soft, heavyweight flannel in a relaxed cut, or the Men's Frequency Tee for an easy everyday layer.

Relwen

Relwen brings a workwear sensibility to everyday pieces — rugged fabrics, thoughtful details, and a quietly American-made-inspired feel. It's the kind of brand that rewards a closer look: quilted flannel, cord, and pique in cuts that actually fit well.

Two standouts: the Men's Quilted Flannel Shirtjacket, a genuine outerwear piece for cold mornings, and the Men's Pique Trap Blazer, a more elevated pick for anyone who wants tailoring without giving up comfort.

Filson (coming soon)

Filson needs little introduction — over a century of rugged, built-to-last outerwear, workwear, and bags made in the Pacific Northwest. We're excited to say Filson is on its way to Out There Outfitters. We don't have it on the floor just yet, but keep an eye out — we'll let you know the moment it lands.
